We grow and reorganize – Jörgen Ersten appointed Development Manager

In 2020 we had a 30 percent growth in turnover and so far in 2021 we have grown an additional 20 percent.

For that reason, to further strengthen our team,  we have had several new experts join our team this autumn.

Johnny Hederoth started in August as Project Manager. Johnny has more than 30 years of experience from project management and mechanical design with companies like Ericsson, Megger and Afry.

In October Christer Wärre joined us after working 23 years at Trimble. Christer is an expert in digital electronic design.

In November and December three new power experts will join our team.

Luyu Wang holds a PhD in power electronics and have 10 years of design experience from companies like Kongsberg Automotive, Flexenclosure and Huawei.

Our former project manager Rolf Jonsson returns November 8th after one year at SM Power and in December we welcome Rodrigo Santos – who also holds a PhD in power electronics (with focus on inverter technologies) – to our team of power experts.

As part of our current growth and strategy moving forward, we have also decided to reorganize our operation.

Jörgen Ersten
Development Manager

Jörgen Ersten, project manager and currently responsible for our PCB-design department, will take on the role as Development Manager with responsibility for all our engineering and project management staff. He replaces Henrik Sennerö who takes a role as Technical Manager.

Jörgen has extensive experience from electronics development projects and production both as project and department manager. In total, he has worked for 20 years at Ericsson leading teams in both hardware and software.

Henrik has been part of the EK Power team since 2001. First as a power electronic designer and project manager, and since 2011 as our development manager. He has done an incredible job taking EK Power from a relatively small development operation to the Nordics’ leading design house for power electronics. In his new role he will have a more technical and forward-looking position.

Currently EK Power Solutions has 26 employees and around 10+ consultants. We are happy to launch this new organisation as of November 1st, enabling us for further growth.
